Site readiness planning
Know your site is ready before you commit
Every project starts with the GridReady™ Site Planner. It captures your power, building, cooling and compute goals, then sizes the deployment you need. From there, our engineers deliver:
Site readiness assessment
A review of available power, voltage, floor space, structure, water, fiber and zoning.
Technical feasibility study
Confirmation that your building can support 175+ kW racks and your planned capacity, with any gaps identified.
Engineering and technical design
The electrical, cooling and layout design for your data center infrastructure, approved before equipment ships.
Responsibilities & Site Readiness Plan
A written plan of what we provide, what your site provides, and the schedule.
Site readiness planning is included in every GridReady™ package.
Equipment
GridReady™ equipment, engineered as one platform
Each 500 kW GridReady™ block includes the cooling and power equipment needed to run 175+ kW racks with direct-to-chip liquid cooling. Customers buy the equipment from GridReady Systems, and it is delivered and installed as one system.

Delivery and installation
Delivered, installed and commissioned by our team
GridReady Systems manages the work from shipment to handoff, so you get one accountable partner instead of a list of contractors.
01
Delivery
We coordinate shipping, rigging and placement of all GridReady™ equipment at your site.
02
Installation
Our team assembles the platform on site and connects the cooling and electrical power distribution equipment to your building’s utilities. On-site installation typically takes days to a week.
03
Testing and commissioning
We test the full system under load and validate performance before handoff.
04
Handoff
You receive documentation and a walkthrough, and your team is ready to bring GPUs online.
Support, maintenance and monitoring
Supported after go-live
GridReady Systems stays with you after handoff.
Maintenance and repair
Service plans for the installed cooling systems and electrical power distribution equipment, including scheduled maintenance and repair.
Monitoring platform
GridReady™ monitoring software, available as a hosted service, to monitor and manage the electrical and cooling systems at your site.
Expansion
Add capacity in 500 kW blocks as your demand grows, using the same design and process.

FAQ
Modular AI data center questions
A modular AI data center is a standard, pre-engineered block of power, cooling and racks that turns available power into high-density GPU capacity without building a new data center. Each GridReady™ block delivers 500 kW and supports 175+ kW per cabinet, and you add blocks as demand grows.
Capacity can be online in as little as 30–60 days on qualified sites.* Major components are built in advance while your site is prepared, and on-site assembly takes days to a week.
The GridReady™ Site Planner and our site check cover power, access, layout and site interfaces before you commit. Site readiness planning is included in every GridReady™ package.
That’s the point of 500 kW blocks: start with 1–2 MW and add capacity as customers sign, at the same site or your next one.
Air, direct-to-chip liquid, or hybrid cooling in one system. Each cabinet combines front and rear door heat exchangers with a direct-to-chip liquid manifold, supported by coolant distribution units, dry coolers and trim cooling.
Cooling capacity shifts between cabinets as server density and cooling methods change, within the same 500 kW block.
GridReady™ is built by operators for fast retrofits into existing powered buildings, starts at 500 kW, and grows with you instead of forcing a big up-front build.
